Can you smell that? It’s the scent of stuffing, pumpkin pie, and—let’s be honest—a little bit of chaos.

Today is the day before Thanksgiving. If you are like most families in Arvada, you are probably scrambling to finish work, battling the grocery store crowds for that last can of cranberry sauce, or prepping your house for guests.

At Surge Kickboxing, we want to hit the "pause" button on the hustle for just a second to say two things: Thank You and Eat the Pie.

 

A Note of Gratitude to Our Arvada Family

 

Before we head home to our own families, we want to take a moment to appreciate the family we have built right here on the mats.

We talk a lot about being a "community" and a "safe place," but those are just words until you walk through the doors.

Our Advice for Tomorrow? Enjoy It.

 

We know it’s easy to stress about "ruining your diet" or missing a workout during the holidays. Here is our official coach’s advice: Don't stress.

Thanksgiving is about connection, gratitude, and yes—great food. Enjoy the turkey. Have a second helping of mashed potatoes. precise memories with your family. One meal won't derail your progress, especially when you have a plan to get back on track.

Once the food coma wears off and the leftovers are packed away, we will be here waiting for you.

Skip the madness of the department stores on Friday morning and come trade the stress for sweat. There is no better feeling than a high-energy kickboxing session to wake up your system and burn off those holiday calories.
